Growth Marketing Lead

About Convey
Every growing company runs on an invisible operating layer: recurring work that crosses a dozen systems and still needs a person to move it forward. Convey is a digital workforce platform. We take that work off the team and give it to digital teammates that the company's own operators train and manage. Each teammate owns a responsibility from the first request to the finished result.
Customers like TelevisaUnivision, Savoya, and Strategus use Convey for work that stands between the business and its revenue. Strategus cut integration launches from three to six months down to under one week.

About the role

You'll own marketing's contribution to pipeline. Working closely with sales, you'll create and speed up opportunities across our target accounts through account-based programs, events, paid media, and the website. You'll build the growth engine from the ground up.
You'll also build the team differently. Alongside the core job, you'll train and manage your own digital workforce on Convey. Those teammates will own the recurring operational work that usually takes over a growth team's week, so your time goes to strategy, creative, and relationships. You'll be customer zero for the product you're marketing.

What you'll own

Pipeline and sales partnership
Own marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline goals. Build the plan with sales leadership and report against it every week.
Run account-based programs against a tiered target account list, coordinating plays with account executives and sales development.
Own the handoff with sales: lead routing, follow-up expectations, and the plays that turn engagement into meetings.
Events and field marketing
Treat events as account-based plays, not just booths: executive dinners and breakfasts around key industry events, follow-on workshops, speaking slots, and events we host ourselves.
Turn attendance into meetings, and meetings into pipeline.
Paid media
Own paid strategy and budget across LinkedIn, search, retargeting, and other channels. Test quickly, set clear spend gates, and scale what works.
Website and conversion
Run the website as a conversion engine: landing pages, account-personalized experiences, conversion paths, and ongoing experiments.
Measurement and marketing operations
Own funnel reporting, attribution, and campaign tracking standards, plus CRM and marketing platform hygiene.
Give leadership a weekly view of pipeline and performance they trust.
Your digital workforce
Decide which recurring growth work to delegate. Examples include weekly performance and pipeline reporting, campaign tracking links, target account research and list building, event research and follow-up, outreach prep for personalized account pages, and campaign QA.
Train those teammates, review their work, and keep improving them as programs change.
Share what works so it shapes how Convey markets with Convey and how we tell the story to customers.

What you bring

8+ years in B2B growth or demand generation, mostly in SaaS, supporting a sales-led motion with long cycles and buying committees.
Experience owning pipeline targets and budget. You can show the math behind what worked.
Account-based and event programs that produced meetings and pipeline, not just attendance.
Hands-on paid media experience, especially LinkedIn and search, and a disciplined approach to testing.
Strong analytical skills. You're fluent in CRM, marketing platforms, attribution, and web analytics, and you build your own reports.
The trust of sales leaders. You've been a true partner to a sales team, not a lead-handoff function.
Experience leading teams, agencies, and budgets. You set direction, and you're still hands-on.
Real fluency with AI, and the urge to hand off whole processes rather than just doing pieces of them faster.
Experience marketing AI or enterprise software platforms.
