Original employer description
Reproduced verbatim from the employer. Verify everything in this brief against the source text below.
We are seeking one of the best marketers in the world. If you are applying, you are likely in the top 50 DTC marketers on earth. You want to be part of what could be the most important project of your life. You want to work alongside a small team of some of the world’s most talented operators. You want to go big.
You will own marketing, budget allocation, team building, campaigns, and creating the first legendary lifestyle brand in health.
This role is extremely demanding. You're managing a team. You're running budgets in the tens of millions. You're sitting across multiple channels and products. The company's trajectory depends on what you create.
You will own the full marketing function at Superpower - from brand and storytelling to media buying, lifecycle, and conversion. This is the person who connects every touchpoint a potential member has with Superpower into a cohesive, high-performing system.
You'll inherit a strong foundation: a performance marketing leader already executing paid channels, a strong production team, and a product with incredible PMF that members love. Your job is to tie it all together - build the brand, scale the content machine, optimize the funnel, and make Superpower the defining name in health.
This is a player-coach role. At Superpower, everyone is an IC including leadership. You'll set the strategy and execute alongside your team. If you're someone who writes copy, reviews creative, digs into funnel data, AND builds the roadmap - this is your role.
Brand & Positioning:
Co-own Superpower's brand strategy - voice, visual identity, messaging architecture, and market positioning (Alongside our Head of Media & Design)
Develop and protect brand guidelines across every channel and touchpoint
Craft the narratives that make Superpower the category-defining company in preventive health
Traditional Marketing Flows:
Build and optimize high-converting landing pages that are on-brand, clear, and designed to move visitors to members
Architect marketing campaigns that work at scale - product launches, seasonal pushes, partnerships, and moments that put Superpower in front of new audiences
Own the marketing side of key funnels: ad → landing page → checkout, ensuring message consistency and conversion at every step
Develop campaign playbooks that are repeatable - so every launch doesn't start from scratch
Growth Strategy & Paid Oversight:
Set the overall growth strategy and marketing roadmap aligned with company goals
Provide strategic direction for paid acquisition channels (Meta, Google, etc.) - we have a strong execution leader already in place
Allocate budget and resources across channels based on performance and strategic priorities
Identify and test new growth channels and partnerships
Team Leadership:
Lead and grow the marketing team - hire A-players, set high standards, and develop talent
Foster a culture of speed, ownership, and creative excellence
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, clinical, and operations
Build scalable systems and workflows so the team can move fast without breaking things
Experience:
Ran marketing budgets over tens of millions
Scaled a DTC brand to over $100m in revenue, ideally from <$50m to >$500m
Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing marketing teams
Skills and Competencies:
Exceptional brand instincts - you know how to tell stories that make people feel something and then act
Strong analytical chops - comfortable in dashboards, cohort data, and funnel metrics. You make decisions with data, not gut alone
Hands-on content skills - you can write compelling copy, review creative, and set a high bar for quality
Deep understanding of lifecycle marketing, email/SMS, and conversion optimization
Fluency across social platforms and organic content strategy
Mindset:
AI-native - you use AI tools daily to move faster and multiply your output. You're excited about the frontier of AI-assisted marketing, not intimidated by it
Founder mentality - you think like an owner, not a manager. High agency, resourceful, scrappy. You see a problem and solve it before anyone asks
Results-driven with a bias toward action and experimentation over perfection
Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration in a fast-moving startup environment
Copywriting ability that goes beyond "good enough"
Superpower is a new health system on a mission to extend and enhance human life.
We started with lab testing, then data aggregation / digital twin, then an AI doctor, and now peptides.
Over the past 6 months, we have grown 10x whilst halving CAC. Now we are gearing up for hyper growth.
