Step 3
Each angle below starts from a real signal in the posting. The phrase “if this reflects your real experience” matters — don’t invent experience you don’t have.
Angle 01
Paid acquisition angle
If this reflects your real background, emphasize: paid channel ownership and budget trade-offs, testing velocity on creative and landing pages, and how you measured CAC, ROAS, or pipeline impact
Why we suggest this: posting mentions paid social.

Keyword stuffing, fabricated bullets, or borrowed metrics tend to backfire in the first screen. Use these as a checklist, not a script.

Original employer description
Reproduced verbatim from the employer. Verify everything in this brief against the source text below.
Bree is a consumer finance platform that brings better, faster, and cheaper financial services to over half the Canadian population who live paycheck to paycheck. We were part of Y Combinator in 2021 and raised a $2M seed round shortly after. We are growing at a double-digit monthly rate and are profitable. Our culture is defined by high ownership, a bias for action, tenacious problem-solving, and striving to be 1% better every day.
We're looking for a high-impact Creative Lead, Growth to serve as the core architect of our performance engine. We are at a stage of explosive growth, and we need someone to bridge the gap between high-level creative vision and rigorous data analysis.
You aren't just drafting briefs; you are building the systems, managing the workflow, and directing the strategy that drives our 8-figure revenue. You will oversee a talented team of three Creative Strategists, a Video Editor, a Graphic Designer, and a Creator Partnerships Manager. This is a high-impact role for someone who is equal parts data-obsessed analyst, social media visionary, and master project manager.
Team & Pipeline Management: Own the weekly creative pipeline end-to-end. You will decide what gets made, ensure deadlines are hit, and continuously raise the bar by delivering clear, direct feedback that improves output quality across the team.
Performance Partnership: Work closely with our Media Buyer to turn performance data into creative direction. You will identify winning patterns, diagnose fatigue, and drive the next wave of concepts based on real signals—not guesses.
Creator & Influencer Strategy: Build and scale our creator engine. You will define what “good” looks like, improve creator selection, sharpen briefs, and implement systems that increase output quality while reducing turnaround time and cost.
System Architecture: Design and refine the systems that power the creative team. This includes briefing frameworks, naming conventions, tracking systems, and feedback loops that make performance insights actionable and repeatable.
Creative Strategy & Oversight: Set the direction for what we test and why. You will review and approve key creative outputs, ensuring every ad has a strong hook, clear angle, and a specific hypothesis behind it.
Creative Iteration & Learning Loops: Build tight feedback loops between performance and production. You will run post-mortems, identify patterns in winning and losing ads, and translate those insights into clear next steps for the team.
Taste & Judgment: You have strong instincts for what works in paid social. You can quickly identify weak hooks, generic concepts, and missed opportunities—and clearly explain how to improve them.
Systems Thinker: You naturally turn chaos into structure. You don’t just produce great work—you build processes that allow others to do the same consistently.
Data Fluent: You are comfortable working with performance data (Meta, TikTok, Motion, etc.) and use it to guide decisions. You think in hypotheses, testing, and iteration.
Operator Mentality: You take extreme ownership and are willing to get into the work when needed—editing, scripting, recording, or fixing bottlenecks to keep things moving.
Non-Traditional Background: You may come from UGC, content creation, or performance marketing—but you’ve built a strong intuition for what converts. You are not a traditional brand marketer.
Proven Experience: 2+ years in performance creative, paid social, or content roles where your work directly impacted metrics like CTR, CPA, or conversion rate.
We are looking for a long-term partner and are flexible with how we start. This role is currently open on a part-time contract basis with the potential to scale into a core full-time member of the Bree team.
Rate: $50 – $70 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Commitment: 10 – 20 hours per week to start
For candidates who transition into a permanent full-time role, we offer a competitive package designed for high-performance talent:
💰Base Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 annually
⚕️Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits plan

🧘🏼 $1,000 annual wellness stipend
🍔 Monthly Lunch Stipend
