Use this posting to prepare
Each subsection below is grounded in something the posting or the role fields actually say. Use them as prompts — not as finished resume copy.
Step 1
Terms in the actual posting. Use these only where they match your real experience.
Step 2
Worth raising before applying or in the first recruiter conversation.
01Who owns landing page testing, analytics implementation, and shipping decisions?
Why ask this: Triggered when CRO, experimentation, or website signals appear. Triggered by the posting’s mention of website / cro signals.
02What's the team's experimentation cadence and how are winning experiments shipped?
Why ask this: Triggered when A/B testing or experimentation language appears. Triggered by the posting’s mention of experimentation / a/b test signals.
Step 3
Each angle below starts from a real signal in the posting. The phrase “if this reflects your real experience” matters — don’t invent experience you don’t have.
Angle 01
Web / CRO angle
If this reflects your real background, emphasize: experimentation cadence and analytics, on-site conversion wins, and collaboration with design and product teams
Why we suggest this: posting mentions website / cro.
Angle 02
SEO / organic angle
If this reflects your real background, emphasize: technical SEO and content production, organic traffic and pipeline contribution, and tools (Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush)
Why we suggest this: posting mentions seo / content.
Keyword stuffing, fabricated bullets, or borrowed metrics tend to backfire in the first screen. Use these as a checklist, not a script.

Original employer description
Reproduced verbatim from the employer. Verify everything in this brief against the source text below.
At its core, Sunset was founded to help founders. We started by supporting startups through shutting down, but we've since expanded into unlocking a new revenue stream for all types of businesses.
In 2025, we earned a secret: the data every company generates on a daily basis (collaboration, communication, building) is some of the most valuable training data in the world. Public and synthetic can only get frontier models so far, so the next generation of model progression depends on real, proprietary data grounded in how actual businesses operate. We're a primary source of it, partnering directly with the frontier AI labs building what's next.
We've scaled from $0 to a $XXM run rate in a matter of months
We've raised from top-tier investors (Floodgate, Afore, Ludlow, Hustle Fund, etc.)
We're small enough that you'll carry outsized responsibility and grow as fast as the company does
You'll partner and build for the fastest and most important companies in the world
You'll be a part of building a massive, category-defining business from the ground floor
The majority of our pipeline comes from referrals: VCs, lawyers, founders, CFOs who we’ve built partnerships with. That's worked, but we need to grow even faster and with more predictability. We're looking for a Growth Marketer to build an acquisition engine across both of our motions: Wind-down and Data Partnerships. You'll own top-of-funnel growth end-to-end, experimenting across paid, SEO/AEO/GEO, content, web, and more to find what actually works, then scale it.
Own top-of-funnel growth end-to-end: pick channels, run experiments, and scale what works
Generate qualified marketing leads (MQLs) for both our Wind-down and Data Partnerships motions
Build and ship your own landing pages, campaigns, and workflows using AI tools, rather than waiting on a dedicated design or engineering team
Make fast calls with incomplete data: kill what's not working quickly, double down on what is
Track and report your own results honestly, since experimentation is worthless without real measurement
Number of marketing qualified leads generated
You're excited about building in-person, 5 days a week, from our office in Dumbo
You want to work hard and strive for world-class levels in performance
3-5+ years in growth or performance marketing, ideally somewhere early-stage where you owned channels end-to-end
You thrive in ambiguity: no fixed playbook exists yet, and you're comfortable making fast decisions with incomplete data
Creative and technical self-sufficiency: you build real things yourself (landing pages, workflows, automations) with AI tools, rather than briefing someone else
Genuine experimenter: breadth over narrow-channel depth, always testing something new
Data-literate: can read your own results well enough to know what's actually working
Experience marketing to founders/startups or other B2B/technical buyers
Familiarity with AI training, data licensing, or model evaluation
Experience launching a channel from zero, with no existing playbook to follow
$175K-$235K base + meaningful equity
100% covered medical, dental, and vision
Unlimited PTO
Free gym + workout class memberships (via Wellhub)
$500 desk allowance
Intro Chat (20 min): mutual fit and interests
Channel Strategy Review (1hr): walk through past campaigns and experiments
Take home: propose a growth experiment or channel test
Onsite (3 hrs): present your proposal, meet the team, have snacks
