Success metrics
What does success look like for this role — pipeline, activation, retention, conversion rate, or revenue?
Where this comes from
Every line below is grounded in the actual posting or in the title, role fields, and seniority tags. Snippets are quoted verbatim; the source tag tells you which part of the listing they came from.
Channels mentioned
… paid ads - Stay on top of our SEO …
Why it matters here: Organic traffic and editorial cadence are typical scope.
Use this posting to prepare
Each subsection below is grounded in something the posting or the role fields actually say. Use them as prompts — not as finished resume copy.
Step 1
Terms in the actual posting. Use these only where they match your real experience.
Step 2
Worth raising before applying or in the first recruiter conversation.
01How is success measured for this role?
Why ask this: Useful when the posting doesn't name success metrics. Triggered by the posting’s mention of baseline (always asked when metrics are missing).
Step 3
Each angle below starts from a real signal in the posting. The phrase “if this reflects your real experience” matters — don’t invent experience you don’t have.
Angle 01
SEO / organic angle
If this reflects your real background, emphasize: technical SEO and content production, organic traffic and pipeline contribution, and tools (Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush)
Why we suggest this: posting mentions seo / content.
Keyword stuffing, fabricated bullets, or borrowed metrics tend to backfire in the first screen. Use these as a checklist, not a script.

Original employer description
Reproduced verbatim from the employer. Verify everything in this brief against the source text below.
We believe the best products spread through word-of-mouth of their users, and we’re very lucky to have a passionate and loving community of thousands of users who voluntarily help each other out, write tutorials, create videos, and get creative in many surprising ways.
Our communication style is very friendly, transparent, casual, witty-but-respectful with our users, i.e. anti-corporate lingo.
Ideally we’re looking for one person (or a 🦄) to do all the following tasks, but if you’re only interested in one of them (like just shitposting memes on our Twitter) or a few of them (eg. tutorial videos, paid ads, content), that’s okay too.
In this role, you will:
Run external communications on all of our socials
Create marketing campaigns and paid ads
Stay on top of our SEO, identify new content opportunities
Work with influencers/reviewers for umbrelOS and Umbrel Home reviews
Manage community across our Discord, community forum, and reddit
Collaborate with our team to create engaging content, such as how-tos, tutorials, and guides
Write blog posts and press releases
Come up with new ideas! You’ll run the show ✨
Apply before August 22, 2026.
