Use this posting to prepare
Each subsection below is grounded in something the posting or the role fields actually say. Use them as prompts — not as finished resume copy.
Step 1
Terms in the actual posting. Use these only where they match your real experience.
Step 2
Worth raising before applying or in the first recruiter conversation.
01How is the relationship between paid acquisition and lifecycle structured?
Why ask this: Triggered when both paid and lifecycle signals appear. Triggered by the posting’s mention of both paid and lifecycle signals.
02How are retention, activation, and reactivating-lapsed accounts measured?
Why ask this: Triggered when lifecycle or retention signals appear. Triggered by the posting’s mention of lifecycle / retention signals.
Step 3
Each angle below starts from a real signal in the posting. The phrase “if this reflects your real experience” matters — don’t invent experience you don’t have.
Angle 01
Lifecycle / CRM angle
If this reflects your real background, emphasize: segmentation and lifecycle journeys, CRM tooling and journey orchestration, and retention, activation, and reactivation impact
Why we suggest this: posting mentions lifecycle / email / crm and retention.
Angle 02
SEO / organic angle
If this reflects your real background, emphasize: technical SEO and content production, organic traffic and pipeline contribution, and tools (Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush)
Why we suggest this: posting mentions seo / content.
Keyword stuffing, fabricated bullets, or borrowed metrics tend to backfire in the first screen. Use these as a checklist, not a script.

We're looking for one of the best SEOs in the Philippines.
This is a senior subject matter expert role for someone with deep, hard-won expertise across technical, onsite, and modern search — the person our account management team escalates to when an SEO question needs a definitive answer.
As our SEO & GEO Subject Matter Expert, you'll set the methodology and standards that guide our SEO work, conduct the most demanding analyses, and produce the high-stakes client deliverables that require true expertise.
You'll present your analysis directly to clients and join calls as the technical authority, while our account managers own the day-to-day relationships. More junior team members will execute against the strategies and frameworks you define.
We're looking for a genuine expert — someone who has spent years going deep on SEO, can diagnose problems others miss, and has invested in staying ahead as search evolves into AI-driven discovery (GEO / generative engine optimization).
If you're the person other marketers go to with their hardest SEO questions, this role is for you.
Serve as the subject matter expert and escalation point for the account management team across all SEO topics — technical, onsite, offsite, and GEO
Conduct detailed, high-complexity SEO analyses and audits that require deep expertise
Own the quality and rigor of SEO client deliverables, setting the methodology and standards the broader team follows
Present analysis and recommendations directly to clients as the technical authority on calls
Define SEO strategy and frameworks that more junior team members execute against
Diagnose complex technical SEO issues and develop clear, prioritized recommendations
Stay at the forefront of GEO and AI visibility, helping Nexus and our clients adapt to AI-driven search
Mentor and level up the SEO knowledge of the broader team
Collaborate with account managers, analysts, and other functions to ensure clients receive expert-level work
This role follows a consistent daily rhythm that aligns with US Eastern business hours while giving you time for rest, personal tasks, and balance throughout your day.
Here’s what a typical day looks like:
Start your day with a 4.5-hour work block: 9:30am–2:00pm (PHT)
Enjoy your afternoon free: 2:00pm–8:00pm (PHT)
Finish your workday with another 4.5-hour block: 8:00pm–12:30am (PHT)
Sleep/rest: 12:30am–9:30am (PHT)
This structure offers a long midday break while supporting strong collaboration with US-based teams during their business hours.
What Your Typical Day May Look Like
Note: All of these times would shift 1 hour later when the time difference switches to 13 hour differences from 12 hour differences
Based in the Philippines with consistent availability for a long-term role
At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience
Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
Strong academic background with an outstanding General Weighted Average
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
Proven experience serving as the engineering partner to non-technical teams or stakeholders
Experience deploying scalable AI solutions, ideally within a professional services or agency context (a strong plus)
Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as Claude, Codex, and Gemini, as well as other modern AI tooling
Real understanding of AI deployment trade-offs — security, scalability, cost, and reliability — not just prompt-and-accept usage
Strong coding ability alongside fluency with AI-native and agent-building tools
Experience designing and deploying agents or automated workflows that scale across multiple users
Highly organized, proactive, and able to drive adoption across non-technical teams
Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
We currently have 100+ team members who live in the Philippines who have been fantastic team members and we’re excited to add new team members to this new role! Meet our PH Team Members.
You'll be working with our product, tech, and design teams that are split between the US & Philippines.
As a small growing business, there are a few traits unique to our business that individuals should consider before applying.
You must love the idea of giving back to the community and nonprofits. There are thousands of jobs. If being involved in the success of nonprofits is something you’re truly passionate about, this could be a great role.
You must be extremely comfortable with change. As a small growing company, decisions can be made over a weekend and fully implemented by early the next week. Whether that’s new systems, new processes, or new approaches, we look for individuals who can adapt and thrive.
You must believe that the best contributors should get better rewards. As a company, we believe in paying people based on the value they generate at the business.
You must be willing to disagree and commit. As a growing business, there will be lots of decisions that get made and changes that occur during your time at the company. Some of which you’ll agree with and some you won’t, we strongly believe that the best team members have the ability to disagree and commit (i.e., going with a decision after it has been made regardless of whether or not you agree).
You must believe the status quo is unacceptable. As a growing company and as individuals, we believe the status quo is unacceptable. Everyone should be relentless in striving to be the best version of themselves and figure out ways to create more value at the company, enhance our client's results, and grow professionally. The question should always be “How can I be better” rather than “How can expectations be adjusted”.
