Original employer description
Reproduced verbatim from the employer. Verify everything in this brief against the source text below.
Arketa is building the operating system for modern fitness and wellness. Our mission is to make wellness more accessible by empowering studios and wellness entrepreneurs to grow beyond in-person classes. We provide a powerful, all-in-one platform to manage and scale hybrid wellness businesses, whether online, in-person, or both.
With Arketa, users can easily manage schedules, accept bookings and payments, build on-demand video libraries, host retreats, and run marketing campaigns via text and email. We also offer fully branded apps and websites, so studios can deliver a seamless, professional experience across every customer touchpoint.
We've raised $15M in Series A funding and are growing quickly. It's a unique moment to join us. We're building a category-defining company in a fast-moving space, and we're looking for teammates who are excited to help shape the future of wellness.
We move fast and we expect ownership. The team is mission-obsessed, lean, and unafraid to roll up our sleeves. You'll work directly with our CEO and leadership team on decisions that shape the company. We celebrate wins, learn from misses, and protect each other's energy along the way.
As Arketa's Head of Growth Marketing, you'll own the full marketing function and lead a team of eight across performance marketing, lifecycle, product marketing, social and community, partnerships, and SDR. You'll be the connective tissue between marketing spend and revenue outcomes, partnering closely with our CEO and other cross-functional partners to build a marketing engine that fuels Arketa's next stage of growth.
This is a category-defining moment. Arketa is the only platform in our space with marketing, referral and gamification, and payroll and accounting all built fully in-house. We're going deep on vertical AI, embedding intelligence across the platform so wellness operators can automate the busywork and focus on growth. We have product market fit and brand awareness compounding fast. We need a leader who can tell that story at scale and build a flywheel that scales us through our next ARR inflection point.
This role is hybrid 4-days to our NYC (NoHo) office.
First 30 days: Get up to speed on the business, the team, the product, and our customer. Build relationships with each direct report, the CEO, sales leadership, and RevOps. Audit current channel performance and spend.
First 60 days: Begin owning the marketing model. Diagnose what's working and what isn't across acquisition, lifecycle, and brand. Surface clear recommendations on budget allocation by channel.
First 90 days: Fully manage the team. Have a defined point of view on budget and spend by channel, an owned forecasting and reporting model, and a hiring plan for the function.
Own Arketa's marketing strategy end to end, from positioning and brand through paid acquisition, lifecycle, and partnerships
Lead, develop, and grow a team of four across performance marketing, product marketing, lifecycle, social and community, partnerships and events, plus a roster of fractional creative and channel specialists
Leverage AI to scale the marketing function's output and efficiency before scaling headcount, building a team that punches well above its weight through smart tooling and automation
Tie every marketing motion back to pipeline and revenue, partnering closely with Sales and RevOps to drive quality demos and accelerate close rates
Manage and allocate the marketing budget with confidence, balancing smart, bullish spend in high-conviction channels with disciplined cuts where ROI is unclear
Own the marketing forecasting model and report progress against pipeline, ARR, and efficiency metrics to the CEO and broader leadership team
Partner with the CEO and leadership team on Arketa's expansion from SMB into mid-market
Build the playbook, hiring plan, and team structure that scales Arketa through our next phase of growth

Strong analytical instincts and the ability to own a marketing model that ties spend directly to revenue outcomes
