This role is full-time, preferably located in NYC. Open to remote for the right candidate.
The Opportunity
As a Lifecycle / Retention Manager (Braze) at Moonshot, you’ll own Braze end-to-end (email, push, in-app messaging, segmentation, journeys, and reactivation) and drive in-app retention efforts (promotions, loyalty rewards, daily missions, etc). Experience in sports betting, crypto, consumer apps, or trading environments is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
Own all lifecycle messaging in Braze (email, push, in-app, inbox)
Build and maintain automated onboarding, retention, and win-back flows
Create dynamic segmentation and triggered journeys
Set up and monitor promotions and targeted incentives
Own and grow loyalty and retention efforts across the in-app user experience
Run A/B tests and weekly lifecycle experiments
Track activation → retention → reactivation KPIs and report learnings
Analyze customer behavior, retention metrics, and cohort lifetime value to identify insights and opportunities to help drive growth strategy
What We Look For in You
3+ years in Lifecycle / CRM / Retention for a consumer app
Hands-on proficiency in Braze (canvas, segmentation, etc.)
Familiarity with consumer app promotion design, fulfillment, and ROI analysis
Experience moving metrics, not just sending messages
Strong short-form copy instincts (mobile-first)
Comfort using data to inform decisions
Nice to Haves
Crypto / trading / sportsbook / DFS experience
Understanding of trader psychology, incentives, and habit loops
Location
