Original employer description
Reproduced verbatim from the employer. Verify everything in this brief against the source text below.
At Queenly, our mission is simple: make every woman look and feel like a queen. We strive to empower women and to help them feel confidently beautiful in their own skin by providing cutting-edge technology, seamless logistics, white-glove customer service and knowledge within the industry.
Since launching in 2019, we’ve built proprietary technology, a loyal customer base, onboarded designer and boutique store inventory, a relatable brand, partnerships with major pageant organizations, and a community of passionate influencers that now makes us the largest marketplace for formal dresses in the US. We have started to pave the way to innovating the formal wear industry and to make it more sustainable by the means of a circular economy model. We are very proud to be both a profitable and fast-growing company, with an extremely talented team with us on the journey.
We are looking for a Head of Growth Marketing with expertise in both acquisition and retention performance marketing to drive long-term growth for Queenly. This individual will play an integral role in shaping the future of Queenly by developing, executing, and refining a holistic growth marketing strategy. This person will have the opportunity to build out our marketing function and create necessary infrastructure to drive long-term sustainable growth for Queenly. We’re looking for someone to build an in-depth, robust marketing program from the ground up – setting the vision, defining the strategy, and leading 360-operational execution. The ideal candidate is fearlessly creative, analytical, and is known for his/her hustle and ability to execute against all odds.
What you’ll do:
Develop lifecycle marketing, always-on campaigns across email, push notifications, SMS and in-app channels to increase frequency, reduce churn and improve retention
Deeply understand our users and identify opportunities for growth and optimization at every stage of the client lifecycle
Create experimentation roadmaps and execute a rigorous A/B testing agenda to enhance campaign effectiveness
Support and own day-to-day optimizations and operations of user acquisition through multiple channels such as Google Ads, Apple Search, SEO, social media (Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and Tik Tok), email marketing and influencer marketing
Research and leverage industry and channel trends and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies
Develop insights to support our continued growth for new and existing business lines
Identify, test, measure, and optimize various marketing channels in order to grow the company’s top-line while maintaining strong LTV/CAC ratio and unit economics
Develop, implement and refine retention marketing strategy, including but not limited to email marketing, loyalty and referrals, to drive repeat purchases and maximize customer LTV
Track and optimize every step of the marketing funnel in order to optimize unit economics, LTV / CAC ratio, and create virtuous marketing cycle
2-4+ years of experience in growth marketing with a proven track record of driving results and demonstrated experience developing and analyzing lifecycle marketing campaigns (email, social media, push, in-app)
Mastery of Facebook Business Manager, Google Adwords, SEO/SEM and Google Analytics is a must
Highly creative and empathetic thinker; you always think about the user first
Excellent communication skills (email / phone / within team / with partners)
Self-starter attitude that loves to take initiative, has a high-efficiency work style, and lots of grit
Able to prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks, and execute under pressure
Ability to thrive in an intense, fast-paced, high-growth, and entrepreneurial environment with passion for building processes and teams from scratch
You are comfortable in a startup environment, able to move quickly and wear many hats in a dynamic environment
Previous experience in acquisition and retention marketing at a consumer startup is a plus
Knowledge and expertise on the pageant industry / formal dress industry is a plus but not a requirement
Why you'll love working at Queenly…
You’ll be part of a mission-driven startup early on, helping to build Queenly’s long-term vision with a female-founded employee base
Our team consists of talented, go-getters who are motivated by challenge and want to revolutionize an entire industry with meaningful impact
You’ll be at the forefront of tech and sustainable fashion at a VC-funded fast-growing startup, helping redefine the retail space for years to come
We believe in autonomy and taking initiative on projects that you can take full ownership of
We offer competitive compensation packages along with equity
