Original employer description
Reproduced verbatim from the employer. Verify everything in this brief against the source text below.
Apify is a marketplace for AI tools, the place where developers, AI builders, and data teams find, run, and build tools that power their agents and AI workflows. We started as a web scraping platform. Today, we're the infrastructure behind data extraction pipelines, MCP integrations, AI agents, and automated workflows that teams around the world depend on.
Apify collects billions of rows of data from all over the world for science, market research, or finding lost children. We make it possible for AI chatbots to interact intelligently, and we're actively involved in developing novel ways to work with generative AI like ChatGPT.
To support this mission, we're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help us build and promote Apify's integrations with platforms like n8n, Make, Zapier, and others.
Work hand in hand with the Integrations team to provide market and user feedback that influences the future roadmap of Apify's integrations. Collaborate daily with the Product Manager on open projects, activities, and roadmap priorities.
Own marketing/GTM strategy for Apify's integrations, from high-level positioning to tactical execution. You'll work on initial launches and co-marketing campaigns that drive adoption and awareness.
Expand partnerships with key platforms such as Make, Zapier, and n8n - coordinating joint campaigns, tutorials, and content initiatives
Understand the needs of Apifyโs user base - from individual developers to large enterprises - to create product messaging, positioning, and marketing collateral for our integrations.
Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to inform future strategies and product decisions.
Collaborate with the broader PMM team to share learnings, align messaging frameworks, and contribute to customer journey optimization across clusters.
Identify key integration trends and monitor the competitive landscape to find new opportunities for growth and partnerships.
Keep internal teams (Product, Sales, and Marketing) informed and educated about new integrations and use cases.
You have 5+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, ideally at a technology company with a strong focus on developers and a product-led growth (PLG) model.
You have a technical background and/or experience in the integration/automation ecosystem (Zapier, Make, or n8n, and others) and experience leading co-marketing with external partners.
You have a proven track record of developing and executing GTM and product marketing strategies, including user research, competitive analysis, and messaging and campaign delivery.
You can take complex technical concepts (APIs, webhooks, MCP) and turn them into marketing stories that land with any audience.
You are comfortable being in front of the camera for co-marketing webinars, tutorials, or speaking at events.
Integrations, automations, and APIs genuinely excite you. You're always looking for new ways to use them.
You work well across teams and know how to build trust and keep communication clear with Product, Marketing, and Partner teams.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
You set your own direction and keep it aligned with the company and integrations team.
You'll start as an individual contributor in the Integrations team. Your first goal is to become familiar with the team's workflow (sprint planning, retrospectives, and other meetings), then agree on a strategy before launching major marketing initiatives. You'll learn Apify's most popular Actors, integrations, use cases, and customers.
This role requires regular communication with multiple stakeholders across Apify. You'll work closely with the Integrations team's Product Manager and developers, while also being part of the Marketing and Product Marketing teams. You should spend most of your onboarding in the Prague office to meet everyone and build relationships.
Complete the general onboarding plan.
Build an advanced automation workflow using Apify and n8n that solves the real marketing needs of the Apify team.
Meet all relevant stakeholders in 1on1s and get up to speed with the Integrations team.
Know the most successful integration (and associated use case) inside out, and be able to demo an n8n workflow or how to create an MCP server (or an AI agent) in a partner integration.
Know where to find and interpret data on retention, number of users, and revenue for different integrations. For example, which integration retains users best, and which has generated the most revenue?
Develop a deep understanding of Apify's existing integrations, including our API, webhooks, and key partner integrations like n8n, Zapier, Make, and our growing list of data and AI-related connectors.
Engage with our current users and partners to learn about their primary use cases, challenges, and the value they gain from our integrations.
Review the Integrations playbook, suggest updates and improvements on how we pitch integration options to our potential partners. The goal is to do more marketing-driven communication.
Analyze the current marketing channels through which users discover and adopt integrations, and propose new, innovative channels to explore.
Achieve early successes by developing and implementing initial marketing strategies or campaigns for one of the integrations. The goal is to have at least 1 of your experiments launched and delivering results. The campaign should reach at least 2,000 relevant users and bring 200 sessions.
By the end of the first 6 months, we expect you to:
Drive adoption of integrations. The overall number of active users and runs should grow at least 7%, MoM.
Organize at least three co-marketing campaigns (i.e., webinars, podcasts, tutorials) with Apify's integration partners monthly.
Understand the user data related to Apify's various integrations and use it to influence the adoption of features and the acquisition of new customers.
Take full ownership of the marketing roadmap for integrations, define it, and align it with customer needs, market trends, and company goals.
Take full ownership of using integrations in our own marketing workflows.
Take ownership of one of the PMM projects (either from a customer journey perspective or AI adoption and processes) that would help the team grow.
